    A recipe
    I've made this 3 times.
    Once,I've actually boiled the shrimp.
    I did not season the shrimp.

    Shrimp with Penne Rigate


    1/2 boxPenne Rigate pasta.

    1 jar Sauce Either Spaghetti,Marinara,or whatever.


    Boil water in large pot.(Not sure what size pot I use)

    Add Penne Rigate.

    While that is cooking,peel shrimp,devein if necessary.

    In large frying pan,melt butter.(Or I Can't Believe it's not Butter,or warm cooking oil,or use cooking sherry)

    Add half of the shrimp.Cook thoroughly.Not too long.
    Drain,then cook other half.Drain that,too.

    Check pasta.If done,drain.Leave in colander.

    If any liquid remains in pan,empty carefully,into empty can if you have one.If not,use what you can,but do not use plastic or glass.

    Pour sauce into pan.
    If you are gonna add spices,do it now.
    I use a dash of Cayenne Pepper,a dash of Paprika,a pinch of salt,a dash of black pepper,some Parsley Flakes(if you have fresh,use it.),a dash of garlic powder(seriously optional).

    Mix in with sauce,add shrimp.
    Pour pasta into the large pot you did the pasta in,or large bowl.
    Pour in shrimp and sauce.
    Mix all together. Add cheese(s)

    Feel free to experiment with this recipe.

    I made Beignets this past Sunday.Quite an interesting try.
    Though didn't look like it did in the cookbook(looked like doughnut holes (Roundish,you know,and that's cause it was getting late,I had to eat.),it was delicious.Wish I had a camera to show how it looked.
    I didn't drink coffee with it,since I hate coffee,so I slammed chai tea with it.
    I won't make a habit of buying chai tea.

    Will I try making beignets again? I don't know.

    I coulda posted about this sooner,but I kept forgetting.

    And here is the recipe. When you see (),I have added suggestions.

    Creole Beignets

    1 cup milk-scalded,hot
    2 tbsp butter
    1 tbsp brown sugar
    1tbsp granulated sugar
    3 cups flour,all purpose
    1 tsp nutmeg
    1 tbsp instant yeast
    1 tsp salt
    1 egg
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 cup confectioners' sugar

    Combine the milk,butter and sugars.
    Stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Cool to room temperature
    Sift the flour,nutmeg,instant yeast and salt together.(They all should be in a small bowl.)
    Blend half the flour mixture into the milk mixing until smooth.(Milk should be in a large bowl after being cooled)
    Stir in the egg and the vanilla.
    Fold in the remaining flour.
    Cover and place in a warm area.
    Allow to double in size.(While that is going on,you can clean up any messes made and the cup(s) and spoons and small bowl can go in the dishwasher,or hand wash.)
    (Lightly dust flour on your fist) Punch dough down and place in a lightly floured surface.
    Cut into squares and allow to rise a second time.(If you need to,add a bit more flour to the counter.)
    Fry in oil at 375°F.
    Fry one side to golden brown before turning.
    Dust with confectioners' sugar,if desired.

    Replanted,and loss of power.
    I decided to replant some seeds and start anew.So Tuesday evening,I replanted,lemon balm,chamomile,and marjoram.I used Miracle-Gro potting soil. This time,I'll get it right.

    I was having fun online tonight,when the lights started to flicker,I'm thinking 'oh no,I'm gonna lose lights,again. But no,The whole entire complex lost power.It seems quite a few places lost power.No idea how long it was til power came back on.Candles were lit,though.

    I was curious...
    so I tried it.And liked the results.
    What did I do? I made a hamburger.Only difference is,I sprinkled some garlic powder,some Old Bay seasoning,and lemon pepper.After it was done cooking,I put it on a slice of bread and spread some Gulden's spicy brown mustard,added some French's mustard,and Heinz ketchup,and put the other slice of bread on it.
    Unless you have allergies to ground beef,or the ingredients mentioned,or the condiments,or the bread,even,DO NOT,I repeat, DO NOT,try it. If you have no allergies to the above mentioned,then try it.

    If at first you don't succeed...
    try,try again. I am reminded of this 'cause last night,I tried to make a milkshake.I failed.It wound up looking like sudsy chocolate milk.I tried again,tonight,little bit less milk,and thicker yogurt.Failed,again.Next time,I'm using soft ice cream.

    I'll post results,again.But,it'll be later on down the road.

    So tired
    I am in a royal state of pain.This morning I passed out flyers all over the complex.(The manager called me yesterday and asked if I wanted to pass them out,so,I said yes.)When it was over I got my money,went home and took a shower.(Walk around a big complex and see how sweaty you are.) On a lighter note:I saw Pepsi Blue today at a store.Yes it was actually blue.I didn't get it though.Might get it later.

    This Sunday,I start taking birth control pills.This will slow my menstrual flow,as I have been excessively bleeding since February.

    This past week,I was in the kitchen,making soup.I heard a ticking,looked up,and the clock is working.That clock hasn't worked for a long time.Later,I get a drink of water,and,the clock is no longer working.Before this happened,the lights starts messing up,kinda like flickering.

    P.S. The light has been replaced.

    I went to sleep Saturday night feeling guilty that I didn't wish Mike a Happy Birthday.So,I wound up dreaming about a ex-friend of mine that I'm not talking to for unknown reasons.Freaked me out really.Didn't happen again though.

    Good and Bad
    I believe people have good and bad sides.Take me ,for example: if a person meets me,they think I'm a good person.but when that person really gets to know me,they'll see the bad side come through.Of course,there is that sensitive side to me that I make sure nobody sees.
